Teams

Men

The men’s team is called the Busan Bandits. This used to be the Club name before restructuring and the Club name change in 2021.

See our history for a bit more detail.

Ladies

Rugby is a global sport for all. The club encourages ladies to join our membership ranks and be active in developing Ladies Rugby in Busan.

Junior

The Korea Rugby Union as well as a number of local schools have expressed interest in Busan Rugby getting involved in Junior Rugby development programs. Since we are committed to promoting rugby in Korea, we have pledged our support to this regard.

Most frequently asked questions.

No problem! Many of our players started playing rugby here in Korea, and their skills have gone from strength to strength.

No, not at all. We are a Social Rugby Club and welcome all to join. As an active member, you can support the teams and contribute to the club activities.

Visit our Contact page. There you’ll find our email address, and you also have the option to either send us a message using Facebook Messenger or send an email using the Contact Form.

No, we don’t. Busan Rugby is an amateur (social) Rugby Club, and we participate in friendly invitational matches/ tournaments and all Korea Expatriate Rugby Association (KERA) tournaments.

During the official KERA season, we train on Saturdays. We usually train at the Sasang Riverside Park – see the map on the Contact page for directions. Depending on weather conditions, we also occasionally do beach training sessions at either Haeundae or Gwangan beaches. Training times are subject to change, and we announce changes in the Facebook Club Members Group.
